FAITH FUEL To Fill Up Your Empty Tank

FAITH FUEL To Fill Up Your Empty Tank

Do you feel like your faith tank is nearly empty? God’s Word is our daily bread, our fuel. A simple way to fill up is by reading and meditating on the following verses every day for the next week. Pick a couple and memorize them. You will be amazed at how full your faith tank becomes.

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. (They asked. And the Lord did.)

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by HEARING and hearing by the WORD of God. (Need more faith? Spend time with His Word and listening to His ministers preach the Word.)

John 20:30,31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, (Why was the Bible written?) that YE MIGHT BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE through his name. (The purpose of writing the Bible was so that YOU COULD BELIEVE. Need more faith? Keep reading the Bible. Let it do its job.)

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that comes to God must believe that HE IS and that he is a REWARDER of them that diligently seek him. (Do you believe that God exists? Do you believe that God rewards seekers? If your answer is “yes,” then YOU HAVE FAITH and you have the ability to please God.)

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to EVERY MAN THE MEASURE OF FAITH.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes in him that sent me, has everlasting LIFE, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto LIFE.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall HE LIVE.

Proverbs 3:5,6  TRUST in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways ACKNOWLEDGE him, and he shall DIRECT thy paths.

Isaiah 26:3,4 Thou wilt keep him in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee. Trust ye in the LORD forever, for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting STRENGTH.

Psalm 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he that trusts in the LORD, MERCY SHALL COMPASS him about.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMES the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. (Are you born again? Then you can overcome the world.)

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, ‘My GRACE IS SUFFICIENT for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (What if we changed our mindset from being embarrassed about weakness to embracing weakness? When we embrace our weakness, God gets all the glory because others can see His power within us.)

John 14:27  PEACE I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not let your heart be troubled and NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will STRENGTHEN thee. Yea, I will HELP thee. Yea, I will UPHOLD thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

2 Timothy 2:13  If we believe not, yet he abides FAITHFUL. He cannot deny himself.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (If God’s work is hard, and your burden is heavy, you’re probably not doing it right. What can you change about yourself and your Christian walk?)

1 John 5:14-15 This is the CONFIDENCE we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, HE HEARS US. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Philippians 4:19 And MY GOD WILL meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are NEW EVERY MORNING; great is your faithfulness. (Maybe you messed up yesterday. His mercy is new today. Maybe you have messed up every day of your life. His mercy is new today. Trust it.)

Romans 8:28 And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (He didn’t say all things are good. But God uses all those bad things to become good for us.)

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore COME BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with THANKSGIVING, and into his courts with PRAISE: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Our prayers should start with praise and thanksgiving. After we worship awhile, we will feel our faith grow. Then the rest of our prayer will be much more fruitful.)

Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, IT SHALL BE DONE for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and YE SHALL have them.

Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was MADE WHOLE from that hour.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes WE ARE HEALED.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes YE WERE HEALED.

Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall LAY HANDS on the sick, and they SHALL RECOVER.

Matthew 15:30-31 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they GLORIFIED the God of Israel.

1John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, IF WE ASK ANYTHING according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that HE HEARS US, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

James 5:13-18 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

All these Bible verses remind me of my precious grandmother whose faith influenced my walk with God form an early age. Here is a retelling of her life: https://soundmindtalk.com/anxiety/dont-worry-god-will-provide/
